Global enterprise web ecosystem designed for clarity, scale, and operational efficiency
Enterprise Web Design • Intranet UX • Interface Modernization
Ecolog International operates in high-stakes environments—supporting defence, humanitarian, mining, and large-scale infrastructure operations across the world. I was responsible for designing their public-facing corporate website, internal intranet portal, and multiple operational web interfaces used by global teams.
This was a full-stack UX/UI engagement involving information architecture, user flows, interface design, and visual direction that aligns with Ecolog’s operational identity.

Ecolog International — Website & Intranet Experience Overhaul
The project involved redesigning multiple interconnected digital properties that served distinct user groups:
Corporate Website Design
Create a modern, structured, and enterprise-grade website that communicates Ecolog’s global capabilities across engineering, logistics, construction, environmental services, and mission-critical operations.
Key Contributions
UX & Visual Highlights
Challenge 1
Challenge 2
- Rebuilt the entire site architecture, simplifying navigation across 6 major business units.
- Designed hero sections, service landing pages, content layouts, and modular UI patterns for scalability.
- Created a visual system using Ecolog’s brand palette—clean, authoritative, and globally recognizable.
- Structured content to highlight business credibility:
Large-scale engineering projects
300+ construction projects
$750M+ managed value
Worldwide presence
- Consistent, grid-based layout with enterprise clarity
- Strong hero imagery to showcase field operations
- Modular service cards for cross-departmental navigation
- Clear content blocks: Overview, Core Capabilities, Project Highlights, Image Gallery
- Designed to support multilingual deployment
Fragmented digital ecosystem with inconsistent structure
Problem:
- Each site and portal evolved separately over time, leading to confusing navigation, redundant content, and disjointed UI patterns.
Solution:
- Rebuilt the full information architecture across all platforms
- Introduced consistent top-level navigation and service categorization
- Established modular UI components that scale across pages and departments
Heavy content and complex service offerings
Problem:
- Ecolog’s services span construction, engineering, logistics, power supply, and emergency operations — requiring clarity for both technical and non-technical users.
Solution:
- Created clear three-column layouts (Services • Overview • Core Capabilities)
- Defined content blocks: hero messaging, service summaries, project highlights
- Used strong visual hierarchy and simplified technical descriptions
- Added service-specific visual cues and iconography

Intranet Portal Design
Ecolog’s internal enterprise portal
Unify HR, document management, corporate communication, and employee tools into a single, clean, easy-to-navigate portal.
Key Contributions
Design Characteristics
Challenge
Complete intranet homepage with:
Quick links
Staff directory search
Corporate announcements
Department dashboards (HR, Document Library, Marketing Database, Profiles)
Designed the SharePoint-driven interface with custom UI elements
UI enhancements for libraries, lists, workflows, and document structures
Increased clarity for large internal content repositories
Simple enterprise layout
Functional over decorative—clean, white, structured
Red accents to maintain Ecolog brand identity
Optimized for corporate devices and legacy browsers (SharePoint constraints)
Outdated intranet lacking usability
Problem:
- The existing intranet portal was difficult to navigate, overloaded with files, and non-intuitive for field and office staff.
Solution:
- Redesigned a SharePoint-friendly UI with minimal visual noise
- Introduced functional dashboards: HR, Marketing Database, Profiles, Document Library
- Implemented quick links, search, announcements, and department landing pages
- Established a clean, professional, enterprise-focused interface
